Defeating the Heli-Tornado is the seventh episode of Metal Cardbot, and the episode where Shadow X is sealed.

Plot

Jun reveals to Teo that he didn’t actually have a secret weapon. But before he can think of a plan, Vera confronts the two with recorded footage of Blue Cop battling Shadow X at the Mowtown docks, threatening to expose them online. To buy time and to distract from Vera’s video, Jun announces an 8:00 PM livestream revealing the truth behind the robot sightings, but Jun still does not know what he will show.

Meanwhile, at Edo‘s workshop, Edo rigs a modified jet engine to simulate gale-force winds so the team can train against Shadow X’s Heli-Tornado using Mega Trucker‘s Shoulder Shield. However, as they are testing it for the first time, Shadow X ambushes them and destroys the engine. Mega Trucker attacks Shadow X head-on, damaging one of his propellers before being recalled. As Shadow X creates his Heli-Tornado, Jun calls Blue Cop and commands him to turn into a police car, using his Vehicle Form’s low air resistance to run circles around the tornado. This causes Shadow X to become overloaded, allowing Blue Cop to use Megavolt Punch and let Jun seal Shadow X (as a friend, not an underling).

At 8:00 PM, Jun and Teo host their livestream using miniature sets and figures to show how the fight was staged. When confronted by Vera on the giant robot, Edo introduces Blue Cop as a life-size styrofoam prop that blew away in the wind, apologizing for the commotion. Although the secret of the Metal Cardbots remains safe, Vera remains suspicious and vows to find proof.
