Metal Cardbots (or “Cardbots”) are mechanical lifeforms created by Deus Machina that can transform between robot and vehicle modes. They are the primary focus of the Metal Cardbot series, originating from the planet Machina and taking refuge on Earth. Outside of the show, they serve as the main toy line for the IP, designed by God Brave Studio.

Some Metal Cardbots are granted the ability to transform into more powerful forms, or combine with other vehicles (known as a “combiner”). Not all combiner parts are themselves Metal Cardbots; though in some cases, two Cardbots are able to combine into one larger Cardbot.
