Metal Cardbot: Zerg Crisis (Chinese: 炫卡斗士之虫族危机) is an upcoming Chinese animation/live action hybrid series produced by KaKu Kids TV and Zhan Gao Culture Co, and is the sequel to Metal Cardbot: Beast Energy. The series is set to begin broadcasting in Q4 2025.

Filming began on May 22, 2025 at Luming Valley in Xiushui, Jiangxi Province. The show is expected to focus on insect creatures, in contrast to Beast Energy’s focused on animals.¹
