Farewell, Blue Cop is the third episode of Metal Cardbot.

Plot

Edo, who stayed late at the repair shop, discovers Blue Cop and threatens to call the authorities. Jun convinces Blue Cop to give Edo a vibrating shoulder massage and make him coffee to calm him down, but both of these end in disaster. Edo demands the mess be cleaned up before he leaves for a business meeting; Jun summons Mega Trucker using the Metal Breath to help clean, but Mega Trucker starts dancing and creates an even bigger mess. When Edo returns and realizes he is late for his meeting, Blue Cop offers to drive him in vehicle mode, but uses his siren to speed through a traffic jam, angering Edo further. Believing Blue Cop is dangerous for Jun to be around, Edo orders him to leave Earth and never return. When Jun finds out, he scolds Edo, explaining that Blue Cop’s home planet Machina was destroyed and he has nowhere else to go.

Later, Jun and Edo are driving through town when they witness an exhausted truck driver overturn on a railroad crossing before an active train approaches. Blue Cop rushes to the scene to push the truck off the tracks, and with Mega Trucker’s help and Jun’s command, the group pushes the truck out of the train’s path just in time. Realizing the Metal Cardbots’ good intentions, Edo welcomes them to stay on Earth as their new home.
