Metal Cardbot W, also known as โ€œMetal Cardbot Wildโ€, is the third season of Metal Cardbot. On EBS, it is referred to with the tagline โ€œ๋ฉ”ํƒˆ์นด๋“œ๋ด‡W ๊ฐ•์ฒ ์˜ ํฌํšจโ€, or โ€œMetal Cardbot W: Roar of Steelโ€. It is set to premiere on EBS1 on December 4, 2025, 7:45 AM KST.1

The season takes a focus on animal transformations, giving Cardbots โ€œwildโ€ forms with animal abilities.

Synopsis

After the Speranza incident, humans and Metal Cardbots began to coexist on Earth. Jun, a boy chosen by the Metal Breath, and his partner Blue Cop find a way for humans and Metal Cardbots to live together.

Then one day, a โ€œWild Cardbotโ€ appears, harboring an ancient secret. Now, a new encounter begins to shake the world.2

IP transfer

At some point between Season 2 and Season 3, ownership of the Metal Cardbot IP was transferred from SAMG/EBS/Navy to SAMG/EBS/OSRO.3

Weibo leak

On October 8, 2025, a large amount of Metal Cardbot renders, including those from Metal Cardbot W, Metal Cardbot: Zerg Crisis, and Metal Cardbot S, were leaked by an account on Weibo. Official statements were put out by both SAMG Entertainment and Metal Cardbotโ€™s Chinese distributor JUMPGO condemning the leak, with JUMPGO claiming that the leaker forged contract signatures and collected fraudulent payments.45

The leaked images included several unannounced characters from the show, including Solidhorn and Grand Blue Leon.
