While cardbot.wiki does its best to portray the most accurate information possible, conflicts often occur between the official Korean version, international dubs, and fan interpretations. Despite an English dub existing for Metal Cardbot, its translations are notoriously unreliable and contradict or omit certain information found in the original Korean translation.

Original Research

When existing information on the Internet is not available, cardbot.wiki sometimes does original research to fill knowledge gaps. This may include reaching out to production staff for comment.

Original Research will be marked in the footnotes section, citing a direct quote from the source.

On the wiki

On cardbot.wiki, information is given this priority when applicable:

1. Official English text in the Korean original (e.g. Cardbot names)
2. Widely accepted fan translations (e.g. “Mowtown”, “Vera”)
3. English Dub (if it does not drastically change the meaning)
4. Translation from the Korean original (try to verify this with native speakers, but machine-translation can be passable for simple phrases).
5. Other translations (e.g. Chinese)
